Hiring Maitri to build a website from scratch was one of the best decisions for my project. Maitri has an innate gift for design, and creates beautiful materials from apparel to graphics. Having worked alongside her in our Sportswear concentration, I know her to be a dedicated and talented designer, and deeply committed to her craft. She can think outside the box, which I feel is the skill that most contributed to her winning the Critic's award for Sportswear in our final term. She can handle a heavy workload on a tight schedule, with a smile. She is highly intelligent, with a strong business acumen, and would be an asset to any team. Concepted and applied the new brand across all digital marketing efforts, including ads, emails, the main corporate website as well as blog sites. I self-initiated suggesting a centralized system for requesting and receiving artwork between marketing and design teams. With the CMO’s approval, I introduced my proposed system to the marketing department and worked with the marketing and design teams to adopt the new process, which remained in effect through the duration of my time at PLI. The system increased transparency, speed, efficiency and output by 3x. I included a library to help visualize the design evolution of the artwork over time.
